Zion National Park is open with limited operations

Zion National Park was temporarily closed due to COVID-19. With its limited operations there is still so much to do and explore. Now is the perfect opportunity with much of Springdale opening up.

Some of the trails open are

-Pa'rus Trail

-Archeology Trail

-Grotto Trail

-Riverside Walk

-Watchman Trail

-Sand Beach Trail

-Upper Emerald Pools

-Kayenta Trail

-The West Rim Trail to Scout Look

-Angels Landing chains section remains closed

Open Park Roads Include:

• The collection of entrance fees has been temporarily suspended at Zion National Park. This is being done to help limit the exposure of park staff and visitors to COVID-19.

• Zion Canyon Scenic Drive is open to private vehicles as parking allows. No vehicles over 23 feet long. Last entry to the Scenic Drive is 6pm.

• The Zion-Mount Carmel Highway (State Route 9) is open. It may be temporarily closed to vehicles in the event of severe traffic congestion.

• Mount Carmel Tunnel – Escorts for large vehicles from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Shuttles remain closed as well as the park entrance feet too keep park staff safe and protected.
